Science Software Engineering, Science Software Engineering
It is a term coined by our company. In a nutshell, it refers to a wide range of know-how in creating science and technology software. There may already be something very similar, but as of June 22, 2004, when I applied to the Google search engine (Japanese site), "Science Software Engineering" and "Science Software Engineering" did not get any hits.
There is "Computer Science Software Engineering". The expression is subtle, but completely different from this. At the end of our introduction column of the 2007 New Year's issue of "Production and Technology," the magazine of the Osaka University Technology Research Association of the Japan Institute for the Promotion of Industrial Technology, we have written in detail about "Science Software Engineering".
